Remodeling Design Services in Southeast Wisconsin
Detailed plans for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and whole-house renovations.
Plans That Work with What You Have
Remodeling is different from new construction. You are working within existing walls, around load-bearing structures, and with plumbing and electrical that may be decades old. Good remodeling plans account for all of that before the contractor opens up the first wall.
Beckwith Development & Design produces remodeling plans for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and multi-room renovations throughout Southeast Wisconsin. We start by measuring and documenting the existing conditions so the new design fits properly within the structure you already have.
Our plans show the contractor exactly what gets removed, what stays, and what gets built. We include demolition plans, new layout drawings, cabinet elevations for kitchens and baths, electrical layouts, and any structural details needed for wall removals or load transfers.
For projects that require a building permit, our plans are drawn to meet current Wisconsin building codes. We handle the detail that building departments require so your contractor can pull the permit and get to work without delays.
Our Remodeling Design Process
A practical process that starts with understanding your home as it is today and ends with plans your contractor can build from.
Site Visit & Measurement
We visit your home to measure the existing space, note structural elements, and photograph the areas to be remodeled. This gives us the baseline for everything that follows.
Design Options
We create one or two layout options based on your priorities. For kitchens, this includes cabinet arrangements and appliance placement. For basements, we map out room divisions, egress, and mechanical clearances.
Final Plans
Once you approve the layout, we produce the full plan set: demolition plans, new construction plans, elevations, and details. If a permit is required, these plans are ready for submission.
Contractor Coordination
We are available throughout construction to clarify details, answer questions, and make adjustments if field conditions differ from what was expected.
